Thanks to the efforts of Jim Buist and Tony Cecere, we're pleased to present the first installment of an ongoing program of training on the Garmin G1000 system.

The G1000 is a complex system, and learning its trivialities is not the duty of the pilot alone; the properly trained Mission Observer should be well versed in the use of the G1000, prior to involvement with his or her first mission.
