Mission Aircrew Training Presentations

Thanks to the efforts of Jim Buist and Tony Cecere, we're pleased to present the following presentations, originally given during our regular squadron meetings.

These presentations are a part of an ongoing program to help our aircrews learn and review the different equipment and procedures used during our flights.  Topics include search patterns and scanning technique plus the use of the Becker DF radio and the Garmin G1000.

The G1000 is a complex system, and learning its trivialities is not the duty of the pilot alone; the properly trained Mission Observer should be well versed in the use of the G1000, prior to involvement with his or her first mission.

These files are in "pdf" format, which requires the use of a "pdf reader" such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (available free of charge).
